'Like a G6' tops Billboard Hot 100

After trailing behind Bruno Mars' "Just The Way You Are" for two weeks, Far East Movement's "Like a G6" finally unseats Mars to take the top spot on this week Billboard Hot 100, as reported by Billboard.com

However, despite having its best one-week sales yet (223K) "Like a G6" drops to #2 on the Hot Digital Songs chart due to Taylor Swift's digital promo single "Back To December" selling a strong 242,000 topping the chart this week. 'Back To December" debuts at #6 on this week's Hot 100.

On the Billboard 200, Lil Wayne's new album "I'm Not A Human Being" surges to from #16 to #1 this week thanks to the actual CD release of the album. The album debuted at #2 two weeks ago with digital sales only but here's the thing that week it sold 110K only but the CD release of "I'm Not A Human Being" sold 125K, a little higher with the digital-only release. This case just shows that despite the dominance in singles, the digital realm could not really do the same magic for album sales. CDs are still pretty much needed to see bigger sales for albums Here are the Top 20 Best Selling Albums on the Billboard 200 courtesy of Pulse Music Board
