Billboard Hot 100 (Issue Date: December 25, 2010)

Katy Perry's "Firework" ends the six week streak of one week #1s as the song spends a second week atop the Billboard Hot 100. With an issue date of December 25, 2010, 'Firework" is also the Christmas #1 for 2010 and how fitting would it be if "Firework" holds the #1 spot again next week with issue date of December 31, 201, New Year's Eve. But it will be no easy feat for "Firework" as two songs are threatening to dislodge it from the top spot. This week's #2 song"What's My Name" by Rihanna & Drake is lording the airwaves so a return trip for this song is possible with its high audience impressions already and competitive sales. The other contender is Bruno Mars' "Grenade" which is exploding both on radio and downloads, the track is currently the #1 son on iTunes and is growing very fast on radio airplay. Next week's #1 race is clearly a three-way fight, who will bag the last #1 for 2010? Let's wait and see

Enrique Iglesias's "I Like It" is still the longest chart sitter with 31 weeks on the chart (#31 this week) and trailing behind are Neon Trees' "Animal" and Taio Cruz's "Dynamite" both spending their 28th week on the chart this week.

Taylor Swift's "Back to December" debuted at #6 several weeks back when it was released as digital promo single but now the track is the official second single from Swift's "Speak Now" album and so far the song is climbing steadily, it jumps from #43 to #34 this week. Will it match or outpeak its debut performance? Let's wait and see.
